HVPD 6,6 kV, 1000pF Coupling Capacitor PD Sensor

Introducing HVPD’s new HVPD CC6.6/1000 High Voltage Coupling Capacitor sensor for the partial discharge (PD) testing and monitoring of HV motors and generators rated up to 6.6 kV. The new sensor is suitable for the On-line PD monitoring of the stator winding insulation of in-service rotating HV motors and generators. Designed for permanent installation inside the machine’s cable box, with BNC signal connections brought out to an external sensor connection box on the side of the machine, the sensor enables PD measurements to be made at any time, without the need for outage.
