T R Lord & Associates Limited t/a AVO New Zealand is proud to announce that it has achieved the Cyber Essentials Certificate of Assurance, following an independent assessment of its ICT systems. This certification confirms that the company’s cybersecurity controls meet the Cyber Essentials Implementation Profile, providing assurance that its defences are effective against common, commodity-based cyber threats.
Achieving this certification was no easy feat and required significant investment in our ICT infrastructure and the implementation of new cybersecurity processes across the organisation. The project was successfully led by Melanie Walker - Commercial Finance Manager, and supported by Zeal Consultants, who provided specialist guidance throughout the process.
“Delivering this project meant rethinking and rebuilding parts of our ICT environment”, said Melanie, “introducing new processes, and engaging our whole team in improving how we manage information and risk. It’s been a real team effort and a foundation we can keep building on”.
Cyber Essentials is a government-backed certification that helps organisations protect themselves against the most prevalent forms of cyber attacks. To achieve this recognition, T R Lord & Associates t/a AVO New Zealand underwent a comprehensive external assessment of its systems, processes, and security practices.
For customers and partners, the certification provides added confidence that T R Lord & Associates Limited t/a AVO New Zealand, takes data protection seriously, operates to independently verified security standards, and has robust systems in place to reduce the risk of disruption from cyber threats.
